The Stranger in the Mirror by Sidney Sheldon

It is one of those very few Sidney Sheldon's novels that I didn’t like. It was somewhat inconsistent story. In the beginning it promised something extra-ordinary but later it turned out to be nothing at all. There wasn’t any Sheldon's usual well-researched account of things. There was no special character either. At least I didn’t find anything extra-ordinary about any of the characters. It didn’t even give the real feeling of something as big as Hollywood, which was unlike Sheldon since he almost always came up with something big and did justice with it.
